Here's a brief explanation of how anxiety, panic and phobias work:-
We humans are a problem-solving species. Our ancestors had to be able to survive terrible circumstances and be able to make sense of the world. So they had a very powerful in-built meachanism to keep them safe...to keep them alive in fact.
Today the world is a much safer place than it was hundreds of years ago: The chance of being eaten by a bear, for example, is very remote. But the same protective part of the brain that existed hundreds, and even thousands of years ago, is still there in all of us today. And this can cause problems for many people.
Quite often something can happen during our lives that causes this problem-solving part of the brain to start working overtime. This causes us to worry and in some cases it can lead to full blown anxiety or panic.
In other words, if you suffer from anxiety or panic, it shows that you brain is working normally. Now of course, if you are a sufferer, this will be of little comfort, although accepting panic and anxiety as "normal" can be a very powerful first-step towards freedom.
The good news is you can be free of your anxiety, panic or phobia in just a few short weeks.
So how would you like to feel more relaxed and in control of your life? Imagine how your life would be different if you were more confident and self assured. Imagine being free of the past and being able to move forward with your life.
This is not nearly as far-fetched as it might sound. No matter what problems or issues you may have, you really can be free of them, and maybe much sooner than you might think.

Most issues will require a series of one-hour sessions, although some of these can sometimes be helped in just one session. These are charged at my hourly rate of £75 although I do offer a free initial consultation. (Students are charged £50 per session)
Here are some of the things I can help you with, and I have given you an idea of how many sessions you may need:-
Release from habits such as nailbiting or hair pulling, most phobias, insomnia - 1 or 2 sessions
Increasing confidence and self-esteem. Overcoming social phobia / shyness / blushing - usually 2 to 4 sessions
Overcoming and removing unwanted feelings such as anger or guilt - typically 2 to 4 sessions
Release from anxiety and depression. Beating panic attacks - usually 3 to 5 sessions
Relief from compulsions and obsessions - typically 3 to 5 sessions
Improving sports performance. Overcoming exam nerves. Natural childbirth and general pain control - usually 1 or 2 sessions.
Please note. These numbers are for guidance only; there may occasionally be instances where deep underlying causes need to be resolved, which may require in excess of 6 sessions.
