The course tutor is Robert McKinnon who has nine years experience working as a therapist. Robert is also a fully qualified Mind Factor Coach, SymbioDynamics Consultant and PSTEC therapist (level 1).
Robert also provides continued professional development (CPD) courses for qualified therapists and is highly respected within the profession. His courses attract therapists and coaches from all over the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Our Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Coaching is one of the most advanced courses you will find in the country. This is because we cover the most up-to-date and effective techniques in the field of hypnotherapy, NLP and coaching, although we also include the more traditional approaches as well.

Our next course will be held at Optimum Health Therapy Centre in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The facility has four separate rooms and so is ideal for the all-important practical sessions.
Course contents in brief:-
Module 1 : What is hypnosis. How to hypnotise other people. Lots of opportunities to practice with each other.
Module 2 : The workings of the unconscious mind. The importance of the mind/body link. Personality types and why they are important and useful with hypnotherapy. An introduction to Freud and Jung psychology.
Module 3 : Direct and indirect suggestion. Ericksonian language patterns. Self-hypnosis. Maslow's hieracrchy of needs.
Module 4 : Meeting the client. Transference. Establishing rapport. Regression part 1 (regression to cause). How to handle abreaction. Healing the inner child.
Module 5 : Regression part 2 (free asociation). The tv/video technique. The work of Erickson. Metaphor and reverse metaphor.
Module 6 : NLP theory and practical - The Swish, Fast Phobia Cure, anchoring etc.
Module 7 : Parts therapy. Miscellaneous techniques including EFT, Percussive Suggestion Technique (PSTEC), an introduction to SymbioDynamics, time line therapy and Grovian therapy.
Module 8 : How to treat specific problems; habits, anxiety, confidence issues etc. Mind coaching and sports hypnosis.
Module 9 : Master classes in smoking cessation, weight management. How to run corporate stress management workshops.
Module 10 : How to set up in practice and how to market your practice.
Our comprehensive practitioner course will enable you to help many people overcome a wide range of issues. Even if you do not wish to become a therapist yourself, the personal benefits you will gain from this course are considerable.
You will learn all about hypnosis, what it is and what it isn't. You will understand why people have problems such as habits, anxiety and phobias.
You will learn many amazing techniques, including how to help someone to be free of their phobia in just 20 minutes, or change the habits of a lifetime in less than half an hour. You will learn how to help your clients uncover and deal with hidden causes of their problems, and discover the power of breathing, posture and body langauge. * In addition to your diploma you will also receive a certificate as a smoking cessation specialist and as such will be eligible to be included on the Central Register for Smoking Cessation Therapists (CRSST).
The course also includes comprehensive training in practice management and marketing. We are not aware of any other hypnotherapy training course which includes this crucial topic in such depth.

The Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Coaching offered by the Transformations School of Clinical Hypnosis has been Assessed and Validated at Practitioner Level by The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK). Graduates from this course are eligible for professional registration with The General Hypnotherapy Register (the GHSC's Registering Agency)at full Practitioner status, together with the acquisition of the industry-based award - The General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GQHP).
The course consists of one weekend per month for 10 months.
The cost of the course is £1450 made up of £100 deposit to secure your place, and £1350 on commencement of the course.
There is also the option of paying in instalments;- £100 deposit followed by 10 monthly payments of £150.
